My new companion is Elder Noah Miller, from Danville, California. He's a natural at a few things---better than me---and there are a few other things I can tell he will certainly need to work on. But he's loads of fun; we find lots of time to laugh and joke. We've devised a code language: ''Avocado'' means there is a camera at the door or on the street; ''peaches'' means you've made awkward eye contact with someone through a window, usually the window of a house you intend to chap; ''figs'' is when someone won't stop looking at us; ''kermit'' is when we smell mary jane; and finally ''coconuts'' is code for attractive women.
Unfortunately we haven't much to do today, accept for some shopping.
Aw man, I've never been so tired before. This week I've just been exhausted.
Well, we should be teaching someone tonight that we had to cancel on last week because of our unexpectedly long stay in Edinburgh.
Friends is kind of an open topic. How to identify true friends; how to be a true friend; what does it mean to be a friend; our kind, wise, heavenly friend; etc.
BTW, I don't know if you knew before or if I've already told you, but there is a facebook page for the Scotland/Ireland mission that often pictures or something are posted to.
I am thankful for your prayers. We ought not to ever underestimate how much we are lifted and supported by God. I often said that I would fight satan every day NOM BAY OOTH if I had to. But honestly, I may be in the ring, but it's Jesus who's doing the fighting.
Love y'all!!
